Welcome to my online kitchen! Picky Palate is where you’ll find family friendly recipes along with the best Disney eats, tips and copycat recipes!
The first thing I would make in this beautiful stand mixer would be an Italian Cream Cake. it is loaded with 4 layers of cake and wonderful goodness. But the recipe, all from scratch, takes time and effort. Having a stand mixer would certainly make things easier, so I could be preparing the next step while the mixer does her job (and a wonderful job I would imagine!)
depending on when the mixer would arrive, i can think of so many thanksgiving dishes that can be prepared with a good mixer (all i currently have is an egg beater). this will be the first thanksgiving with my fiance and family together. my parents separated last fall (tearing apart more relationships than just theirs), so to get everyone together this year, i volunteered to cook thanksgiving dinner. definitely can’t mend hearts with one meal, but i’m hoping it’ll be one of many meals, one of many excuses, to help keep my family together.
Mmmmm, I think I would love to make some super yummy rolo brownies… I can taste the wonderful caramel and chocolate already :o)
I will make a double batch of pumpkin cookies because my current Kitchen Aid can’t handle the double batch!
I will definitely make cookies!
dough…for what I don’t know! mmmm sticky buns perhaps!
Cinnamon chocolate chip pumpkin coffee cake! Can’t go wrong with pumpkin and chocolate, ever.

The first thing I’d make is snickerdoodle cookies!

I’d hand it over to my beautiful wife and let her at it, though I may suggest she make something a long the lines of cinnamon rolls or brownies. Just saying.
The first thing I would make is pie dough, my mixer just doesn’t have the strength to do it!
My daughters’ love to bake with me and their favorite thing to bake right now is cupcakes, so we would make lots of cupcakes!!
