The first thing I would make in this beautiful stand mixer would be an Italian Cream Cake. it is loaded with 4 layers of cake and wonderful goodness. But the recipe, all from scratch, takes time and effort. Having a stand mixer would certainly make things easier, so I could be preparing the next step while the mixer does her job (and a wonderful job I would imagine!)

depending on when the mixer would arrive, i can think of so many thanksgiving dishes that can be prepared with a good mixer (all i currently have is an egg beater). this will be the first thanksgiving with my fiance and family together. my parents separated last fall (tearing apart more relationships than just theirs), so to get everyone together this year, i volunteered to cook thanksgiving dinner. definitely can’t mend hearts with one meal, but i’m hoping it’ll be one of many meals, one of many excuses, to help keep my family together.

I will make a double batch of pumpkin cookies because my current Kitchen Aid can’t handle the double batch!

I’d hand it over to my beautiful wife and let her at it, though I may suggest she make something a long the lines of cinnamon rolls or brownies. Just saying.

The first thing I would make would be chocolate pumpkin cupcakes with brown sugar cinnamon Buttercream. I’ve been wanting to make those ever since I saw it posted a few weeks ago!
