Nutrilite Giveaway

Back in August I had the opportunity to visit the Nutrilite Center for Optimal Health in Buena Park, California for a health and nutrition event hosted by Amway.

I was also there with Amanda from Kevin and Amanda,  Emily from Busy Mommy, and Lori from 24/7 Moms for a comprehensive health assessment to determine the best health management program for our genetic type. I have to admit, I was a bit nervous because the first thing we had to do  get our blood drawn. I’m sure I turned white as a ghost, but I am happy to say that I did just fine 🙂

After we got our blood drawn, we proceeded with our blood pressure taken, and an ultrasound done on our carotid artery to monitor plaque build up. Then we moved on to a bone density test, flexibility test, physical fitness tests to determine cardio and core strength, and a body fat percentage test. For the record I have never liked the body fat test, especially since I have been a food blogger, lol! Finally we took a DNA swab that will tell us how to manage our best health and weight management.

We all did great then it was off for a quaint lunch with Kurt Warner who is the new Spokesperson for Nutrilite.

Kurt is a huge fan of the Nutrilite products and told us about his experience, and you know there was Dancing With The Stars Talk 🙂  It was fun to get to talk with him and learn about his busy family. His wife has a book coming out called One Call Away. I am looking forward to reading about her story.

I received my health analysis back from the Dr. and to no surprise to maintain my optimal health and weight, I need to reduce my carbs and exercise with higher intensity. Not so much of a surprise but I was grateful to get all the details to help me understand my genetic make up.

I try to take vitamins on a regular basis and my kids too, but we are not always consistent.

If you eat a healthy variety of fruits and vegetables, you really don’t need a pill to give you vitamins. Honestly, this whole Nutrilite thing seems a little shady to me. The “customized” advice you got is applicable to anyone. I hope you enjoyed the lunch and meeting Kurt.

I currently take a Women’s One a Day Vitamin with added calcium, iron and zinc. I was taking an additional calcium tablet, but after careful research on calcium needs, realized I was taking way too much and eliminated that extra dose.

Currently, I take Flintstones Complete chewables and I am 20 years old. They taste so good and I don’t even care that they are meant for 4-year-olds!

We are tiny people in my house. Our doctor stated vitamins daily. My kids take a daily dose, but I don’t as much.

I try to take vitamins daily, but there are times I forget! I really need to be more conscious about it!

DH and I do. Toddler does not. I am really conscious of taking mine because I notice a huge difference in my energy levels and overall mood when I don’t. Great giveaway! Thanks!

No, but we need to start! I keep telling myself I’m going to start taking vitamins every day…but I haven’t bought any vitamins yet.

About 6 months ago I bought a big bottle of multi vitamins one for me and one for my husband. I think we have taken about 20 in the past 6 months, I am trying so hard to be better!

We take multivitamins, fish oil, and flax seed oil daily. We didn’t start taking flax seed until I developed dry eyes due to birth control which was completely fixed by flax seed oil.

Nope, we don’t take vitamins. We should but I really try to feed my family a wide variety of foods. 🙂

No. I’m so bad with going on spurts where I’m good with taking vitamins then I’m bad. Currently, no, we’re not taking daily vitamins.
