My favorite cake is called Hummingbird Cake…my mom made it for every special occasion. 1 bowl, no fuss.

I grew up with this cake…Wacky cake. It is so rich and moist. I never really have liked frosting. This cake does not need it, although my family loves when I add it. I make it with dark chocolate cocoa and it is amazingly simple and moist, with a deep rich flavor.
My favorite cake is German Chocolate followed in close second by a good Carrot Cake.
