As I was deciding what recipe to make from Ree’s new book, my eyes were quickly drawn to her Malted Milk Chocolate Chip Cookies. I love a good thin crispy cookie so I knew this was the recipe for me!

Ok, back to the cookies 🙂 These cookies took no time at all to whip up. The dough was absolutely delicious! Yes, those are my PJ’s in the reflection of my KitchenAid, lol!
I was so excited to get these babies in the oven!

We are making taquitos! A couple weeks ago I threw a few chicken breasts and a couple chicken thighs in the crock pot with onions, seasonings and some stock. We shredded that chicken and froze it in small portions and will use that for the taquitos!
Tonight we are having barbecued pork butt, au gratin potatoes,baked beans and cole slaw. And maybe malted milk chocolate chip cookies!
It’s rodeo season in Houston, which means I’m NEVER home. I’m having turkey sliders that I made this morning and packed up to bring with me!

As of Right now I plan on making chicken and waffles tonight for dinner but that can change every hour as my palate changes and the more I watch the Cooking Channel and Food Network LOL!

That is a tricky question. Tonight our family is split. Half of them have a meeting and the rest of us are home. I will be home with the youngest, so we usually do something simple. Sandwiches, mac n cheese. Something easy.
We are going to grill hamburgers outside — we are loving this early Spring weather!
