As I was deciding what recipe to make from Ree’s new book, my eyes were quickly drawn to her Malted Milk Chocolate Chip Cookies. I love a good thin crispy cookie so I knew this was the recipe for me!

Ok, back to the cookies 🙂 These cookies took no time at all to whip up. The dough was absolutely delicious! Yes, those are my PJ’s in the reflection of my KitchenAid, lol!
I was so excited to get these babies in the oven!

You should have asked about last night, last night we actually tried a Pioneer Woman recipe for pork chops and pineapple fried rice. I like to alternate new recipes with family favorites so tonight we are having tostadas!
I am making Smoky Chili Joes, one of my favorites, with Roasted Ranch Carrots & Potatoes & a little fruit salad. Yum! I love dinner.
It’s Tuesday so tonight I’m making Fish Tacos for Taco Tuesday! I can’t wait to try this cookie recipe – yum!

dinner tonight is herbed roasted chicken and brussel sprouts. yummy rosemary, parsley and thyme stuffed inside and under the skin of the chicken, roasted, and it is so delish. Watching calories so no starch side, just chicken and veggies!
Tonight we’re having Shrimp a la Betsy – from her first cookbook. Fun coincidence!
We are having tuna noodle casserole. But not your mama’s tuna casserole. I make everything from scratch including the mushroom soup. It is thick and creamy and loaded with delicious veggies! Thank you for the awesome chance to win!
I think I will do something with potatoes, vegetables and smoked pork. I still have to think about it though.

Tonight is the one night out with a special young man – his choice! Otherwise it has been roasted veggies of all sorts and chicken the last few nights, asparagus, broccoli, brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes and regular potatoes, yum!
