Tuscan Broccoli and Cheese Quesadilla

As a child, my mom always prepared our quesadillas on the stovetop so I’ve continued that tradition in our home. You don’t have to heat up the oven and it literally takes a couple minutes each side to cook. I love how crispy it turns out too!

Fold your tortilla over the filled half and let cook on both sides until golden brown and crisp.

Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers come in a variety of  of seasoned, sauced or blended vegetables. I love that I can add them so simply to many of my dinners and make a completely new recipe.

Tuscan Broccoli and Cheese Quesadilla

How fun are these quesadillas? Broccoli and cheese are a match made in heaven, I love them together in this quesadilla. Before, I would just whip up a quick cheese quesadilla for the boys and now by adding some Tuscan seasoned broccoli florets, I’ve got a gorgeous new dinner idea. Hope you enjoy!

This is a great and easy recipe..on my list to make. Thank you! Easy to add chicken or beans too and get even more protein. My elderly parents have a wonky oven….I usually go and stay with them for extended periods of time to help them out…while there I have to get very creative and prepare most of our dinners on top of the stove. I make quesadillas a lot…this is a great recipe for that.

  2. I want to try these! I’m not big on vegetables, but I need to find ways to like them so that I can hopefully prevent my toddler from being a veggie hater like me.

  4. Thank you so much. I was going to use the broccoli I had for something else, but was bored with the same old same old. Thanks for this wonderful idea. I may add some ingredients to it and send it to you if you like.
I have been losing weight for a year now by refurbishing recipes since diet recipes are so boring and bland, I tend to add a lot of herbs to help those who need to get healthy and lose a significant amount of weight without getting bored of the same old food

Thanks a bunch for such a creative recipe. My picky 3 year old finished it in no time, and she fed herself (which is a bit rare)!!
