I can never say no to a fresh cider doughnut. No sugar, no glaze, just a traditional cider doughnut from the neighborhood mill.
I have been seeing so many baked doughnut recipes that I pretty much NEED one of these pans at this point! 🙂 My favorite is a maple glazed, but I also love Krispy Kreme’s pumpkin spice doughnuts.

I love apple cider donuts, never had pumpkin donuts but they sound good also.
No matter what donut shop, chain or local, you can never go wrong with the “old fashioned” donut. Not sure what makes them “old fashioned” but the glaze is always hard and doesn’t stick to your fingers.
Pumpkin! My absolute favorite would probably be pumpkin donuts with a cinnamon maple glaze. Oh man, now I’m craving one!
