The good folks at Chili’s have offered to give 1 Picky Palate Reader a $50 Gift Card to dine at one of their restaurants!! They also sent my family so we could share our dining experience of Chili’s new menu items with all of you. Here’s how our delicious night of eating went down……….
We started with a cup of their new Chicken Green Chili Soup. Let me just say, my husband and I LOVED this, so much I totally re-created it!! See my recipe HERE.
I know, so naughty, but then we tried their new Loaded Beef Nachos. Um….Incredible 🙂
The boys ordered off of the kids menu, but picked at our food too 🙂
For our main course, we shared the new Carribean Salad, Mini Chicken and Beef Tacos and the Steakhouse Sandwich. We really enjoyed all of these plates, especially the Steakhouse Sandwich. The horseradish dipping sauce was AWESOME!
It wouldn’t have been appropriate had we not ordered dessert, so we ordered their new Brownie Sunday, which was pretty much devoured 🙂 Thanks for a great dining experience Chili’s!!

I like to try new things 🙂 My husband is usually too scared to leave his comfort zone hehe
I used to be a “never-ever stray from my one item” type of girl, but recently I’ve been trying a lot of new things!
I like to try new things on menus, especially if they have a good description on the menu. My husband likes to get the same things over and over again, which drives me nuts!

I eat pretty much the same things when we go out. We have three kids and it’s such a rarity to go out that I don’t want to mess it up by delving into the unknown!

It depends on the place. At my favs I get what I alwyas get because that is usually why we go there. Often me and hubs order 2 meals and then will share them so we can try more food. I usually like what he orders best and he gives me his plate.

I try different things—but nothing with shrimp or anchovies!!

We love Chili’s…it’s been a while since we’ve been, I had no idea they had new menu items. I usually stick with the same thing unless there are new items that look good.
I tend to order the same thing, but I do like trying new things as well.

I always try and ‘spice’ things up and order new things off the menu. Sometimes it tastes great and sometimes I wish I had gone with an old favorite.
I love Chilis new menu, especially the taco trio. Ummm … mouth is watering just thinking about it! If you can’t tell by what I just wrote … I like to try new things
