A brookie recipe is pretty much the best of both worlds!  A fudgy delicious brownie plus chocolate chip cookies all in one fabulous dessert.  I’m telling you, it doesn’t get much better than this dangerous sweet combination.  Try serving the squares warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.  Even more amazing served this way 🙂

To start this recipe, you’ll prepare both the brownie mix and chocolate chip cookie mix according to their package directions.  Press the chocolate chip cookie dough layer on the bottom of a prepared 9 x 13 inch baking pan.  Scoop the brownie mixture in between peanut butter truffles. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until set. Remove and let cool completely.

Your written directions are confusing on this recipe. The concept seems simple, but the pictures aren’t complete and the directions leave a lot out.

    Kelly says:

Looks yummmm… but there’s only one worry, about the proportions! Whenever i try out new cakes, either there’s a problem with the consistency or with the proportions. As you have given the exact proportions here, lemme try this out 🙂 Hope it works 😀
