I’m telling you, it doesn’t get much better than this dangerous sweet combination. Try serving the squares warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Even more amazing served this way 🙂

Brookie recipes are so much fun! This dessert could not be more simple to prepare. Chocolate and peanut butter is one of our favorite flavor combinations for a sweet treat. These bars are about to knock your socks off! Your family will be making this speedy dessert for years and years to come!
How To Make Brookies

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. and line a 9×13 inch baking dish with parchment paper.

Prepare cookie mix according to package directions. Press dough into prepared baking dish. Place creamy peanut butter and powdered sugar into a medium bowl, mixing until well combined. With a small cookie scoop, place dough evenly over cookie dough layer. Prepare brownie mix according to package directions and scoop or spoon in between peanut butter truffle scoops.

Bake for 45-50 minutes, until bars are set. Remove and let cool completely. Cut into squares and serve room temperature or chilled.

Your written directions are confusing on this recipe. The concept seems simple, but the pictures aren’t complete and the directions leave a lot out.
