What You’ll Need

With this simple recipe, you only need a few easy to find ingredients. See the bottom of the post in the recipe card for full details and instructions.

  • Fresh Green Beans– Check the produce area of the grocery store for fresh green beans also called Hericot Vert.
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil– You’ll toss the green beans in just a little olive oil and seasonings.
  • Salt– For cooking and baking, I use kosher salt.
  • Pepper-For best results use freshly ground black pepper.
  • Crushed Red Pepper Flakes– These give the green beans a little kick, you can leave them out if you’d like no spice.

How To Make Air Fryer Green Beans

Place Green Beans In Large Bowl. Remove green beans from packaging. Wash and pat dry if needed. Remove any stems if needed as well. Place beans into large bowl.

Season Green Beans. Drizzle green beans with olive oil then season with salt, pepper and red pepper flakes. Use a large spoon to gently stir until well combined.

Preheat Air Fryer. This is optional, but I like to heat up my air fryer before cooking vegetables. Preheat at 380 degrees F. for 4-5 minutes.

Place Green Beans Into Air Fryer. Once green beans have been seasoned, transfer to air fryer basket.

Cook. Cook green beans at 380 degrees F. for 8 minutes. Halfway through, remove the basket, shake the green beans. When done, remove green beans and transfer to a serving plate. Serve warm.
