I would bake strawberry jam tartlets! I’ve been thinking about making jam, then a baked dessert with the strawberries in my fridge for a few days but I haven’t had time.

I would make my Grandma’s Sour Cream Sugar Cookies. Unfortunately, it is too hot to make those roll out cookies right now

Cookies! I think they should be a food group! In fact, I think I will go make some right now for my family and some for the neighbors! I’ll finish the laundry after baking!

I’d bake as many of my favorite cookie recipes that I was able to bake. They would include: chocolate chip, peanut butter, sugar cookies with cookie dough icing, world peace cookies, pumpkin bars, toffee-pretzel peanut butter cookes, millionaire shortbread, brownsugar shortbread, brookies, snickerdoodles and gingersnaps(a true baker’s dozen). I’d serve ice cream with the thirteen varieties of cookies and invite as many needy children as possible.
In beautiful Southwest Florida where I’ve lived for over 25 years, there are many needy hungry children especially in the Summertime when they don’t have free school breakfast and lunch programs. Having taught 2nd grade and loving children of all ages, this would simply be a labor of love!
