If I had time to make a desert right now it would be my mom’s ice box cake she would make when we had a lot of people over. I have not had that cake or made it since she passed away 10 years ago.
I am so craving some peanut butter blossom cookies right now, ever since I let the thought of them enter my head yesterday. At least if I make them now that it’s summer, when the kids are home, I won’t eat them all myself!

I just made a blackberry cobbler tonight for my husband!
I would make a ho-ho cake, my mom’s recipe. Just like a Swiss roll cake!
“If you had time right now to bake a dessert, what would you make?” I would make an old family favorite called Messy Cake. It is baked then flipped over after taking out of the oven ..that puts the wonderful frosting on the top.
