    If I had time to make a desert right now it would be my mom’s ice box cake she would make when we had a lot of people over. I have not had that cake or made it since she passed away 10 years ago.

    It is the middle of winter here in Australia and today is rainy and freezing. I would bake a sticky date pudding with caramel sauce and sit in front of the fire to eat it.

    “If you had time right now to bake a dessert, what would you make?” I would make an old family favorite called Messy Cake. It is baked then flipped over after taking out of the oven ..that puts the wonderful frosting on the top.
