If anyone asks me my favorite editing software for all of my photos, without hesitation I say Lightroom. No question. I’ve never been a photoshop gal because of the learning curve. Lightroom is so easy to use, I was so excited to learn that I figured it out in just minutes. (I am not tech savvy at all)
It sure makes my job easy as a food blogger being able to touch up my photos ever so slightly to get just what I am looking for.

There are so many before and after pictures I can show you, but this is one I did just last week when I was photographing my Double Chocolate Butterfinger Cake. We had some friends over and their dog was outside my window watching my cake, lol! I snapped a photo and as you can see on the left, it was dark and gray. With just a few touch ups from Lightroom you get the picture on the right. Love!!

I like to take pictures of scenery.
I mostly take pictures of my kids. Especially my daughter’s gymnastics meets.
It’s a toss up between my grandchildren and food.
I find myself taking pictures of the things that make me laugh. Whether it’s a misspelled sign, a friend dancing, or just when we are in the middle of laughing so hard that we have to close our eyes to recover.
Looking over these photos not only remind me of the good times, but that life’s mystery is finding the humor in it all!
I mostly take pictures of my children. But in general I just love photographing people, even myself sometimes. (I hope I win!)

I take a lot of pictures of everything. My friends sometimes get annoyed because I stop for photo ops on a regular basis. MY favorite passion however, is taking aerial shots. My boyfriend has a little Cessna 172 so we regularly cruise the area on short rides. We live in Montana so my canvas is wide open and I really enjoy it. Winning the Lightroom software would be the icing on the cake for me … no pun intended. P.S. Love Love Love your recipes!!!

I LOVE taking photos! I mostly take pictures of my family – husband, two boys, and our golden retriever. We also travel frequently and I love documenting our adventures!
Hmmm…I *struggle* to take pictures of my kids playing sports. Ugh. Either the ball is in focus (volleyball/bball) or the kid is in focus and the ball is a blur (tennis). And how, exactly, do I take pics in a gym that don’t look yellow? Maybe Lightroom would help…..

I definitely take the most pictures of my 6 kids. Not so many of my 13-year old- she covers her face every time! Every now and then I’ll hand the camera to someone and say, “Take a picture of me, just to prove I was here.”
I take a lot of pictures of my kids, husband and all the trips we go on. I have never heard of lightroom but sounds great that is is very easy to use to fix your photos. Thanks for the chance to win it.

I have 4 year old little munchkin. He is definately the one I take the most pictures and he is always wanting/asking for a picture of this and a picture of that. He is definately a camara ham. He is the reason I found Pickey Palate and ever since we have had such fun making some of the recipes together. He calls himself “SUPER HELPER” I even got him a Master Chef apron….soooo cute!! I would love to have the Lightroom 4 Photoshop and learn how to make all of my pictures perfect.

I definitely take the most pictures of my food! Since I just use my phone to take pictures, it’s always a little awkward when I’m trying to show someone a picture and I have to scroll through hundreds of food pics first, ha!
