- Ranch Dressing Seasoning Mix
- dried parsley
What Is Keto Chicken?
Chicken by itself is generally too lean to be considered keto, but with added fats and vegetables you can create keto chicken. I prepared my chicken with Parmesan Cheese and seasonings rather than the traditional flour and bread crumbs. While you have less “breading” than your usual chicken tenders, these Parmesan Ranch chicken tenders are full of amazing flavor, you don’t even know they’re low carb.
What Is A Keto Diet in a Nutshell?
The idea is for you to get more calories from protein and fat and less from carbohydrates. You cut back most on the carbs that are easy to digest, like sugar, soda, pastries, and white bread. When starting any new diet plan, always consult with your doctor first.
How To Make Oven Baked Keto Chicken Tenders
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. and line a large baking sheet with tin foil.
- Place Parmesan, Ranch Dressing Seasoning Mix and 1 tablespoon of dried parsley leaves onto a large plate or shallow dish. Use a fork to mix ingredients well. Use another fork to dip both sides of the chicken tender in melted butter then both sides into Parmesan mixture, making sure all sides are coated well. Transfer Parmesan coated chicken tenders to foil lined baking sheet, placing 1/2 inch apart from each other. Once all chicken has been coated and placed onto baking sheet, bake for 23-35 minutes at 350 degrees F. then turn on oven’s broiler and carefully watch to cook tops of chicken until browned. Each oven will be different, mine took about 3 minutes. I didn’t leave the oven, just watched through the window. Once the Parmesan browns, it goes very fast, so watch carefully. Remove tenders from oven and let cool for a couple minutes before serving. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
I love the simplicity of the chicken tender crust, Parmesan Cheese, Ranch Dressing Seasoning and Parsley. No fuss!
Use a fork to dip each chicken tenderloin in melted butter. Both sides.
Transfer dipped chicken tenderloins into Parmesan mixture, pressing into both sides of chicken.
Once coated, transfer to prepared baking sheet lined with tin foil.
Since the tenderloins are dipped with butter, I didn’t spray the foil with cooking spray. Bake for 22-25 minutes at 350 degrees F. then turn on oven’s broiler to crisp/brown Parmesan Cheese. Watch closely, as the browning goes quick once it starts.
Transfer chicken tenders to a serving plate and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
The golden Parmesan Cheese is so flavorful! These chicken tenders are such a treat.
Tips On Getting That Golden Crust
When you look at the chicken baked for 22-25 minutes, you are going to think, what did I do wrong? Not to worry, once you turn on the oven’s broiler, you’ll see the magic happen before your eyes. Once the broiler is on, watch carefully. You’ll see the Parmesan bubbly and then all of the sudden it turns that beautiful golden brown. Remove once you are satisfied with the color. Mine took about 2-3 minutes. Each oven will be different.
How To Serve Baked Chicken Tenders
Serve for any occasion with your favorite dipping sauces such as Ranch Dressing, mustard, ketchup, and even spicy mayonnaise. You can even use the chicken tenders to go in pasta sauce.
How To Store Leftover Baked Chicken Tenders
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Re-heat in microwave or oven as needed

In the beginning text you say “bake for 23-35 minutes”. Later down you say “bake for 22-25 minutes”??? Which is correct, thanks. I don’t want to overbake.
I’ll edit that. Should be 22-25 min depending on your oven 🙂
Great, love em!!!
Easy n definitely will make again!!!
Thanks
Is the baking time of 23-35 minutes correct?
Yes 🙂
Instead of the oven have you tried using an air fryer???
I haven’t tried it in the air fryer yet. I would love to see how that worked.
Simple ingredients! I have to try these, cheese and ranch. Yum!
