Welcome to Picky Palate, my online kitchen! You'll usually find me with a cookie in one hand and a salad in the other. It's all about the balance :) The recipes you'll see are my creations. The Picky Palate Cookbook is now available. Enjoy!
Welcome to the ORIGINAL Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe! You’ll find my recipe that was taken all over the web, but please note, this is my original recipe 🙂 … Continue Reading »
I would love to have a Macaron in France!
Red velvet cake!
Lemon Meringue Pie with TONS of meringue. 😉
Oreo molten lava cake
I would love a white chocolate raspberry cheesecake, and cupcakes made by my children!
IF I could have any dessert on Mothers Day, it would be a big caramel nut brownie with some kind of real good ice cream on top, whipped cream and chocolate drizzle on top!!! OH YEAH!
If I could have any dessert of my choice, I think I’d pick Black Forest cake!! Love this cake! Haven’t had one in a while. But my husband and oldest are gone so I guess I have to make one myself if I want it! LOL!
I would have a chocolate cake baked from scratch in this amazing raspberry ice mixer, with ganache filling and fluffy chocolate frosting with some super ripe strawberries on top. And maybe a dollop of real whipped cream on top to cut the chocolate ever so slightly.
Unfortunately, I am hosting Mother’s Day at my house. My mom is bringing some brownies and I will be making other desserts with the help of my 8 yr old daughter. Maybe strawberry pretzel “salad” in jars…or brown butter pound cake…and maybe chocolate chip cookies in muffin top pan…I can’t decide. I want to make it all…too bad I only have one mixer and a crappy blender.
Happy Mother’s Day to everyone!
If I had my choice of a Mother’s day dessert it would be Raspberry Coconut Cake.
I love chocolate cake with caramel frosting or maybe creme brûlée!
I love making strawberry pie for Mother’s day! It’s my Mom’s favorite, and so delicious!
I wouldn’t mind some molten lava cake!
I would choose the lemon mousse cake that my daughter makes. It is a light sponge cake filled with mousse, topped with fresh berries an whipped cream.
My favorite Mother’s Day dessert would have to be red velvet cake. My mom and I have always made it together and her recipe for homemade cream cheese frosting – passed down from my grandmother – is to die for! I think I could eat the entire cake in one sitting!
I have been a longtime “liker” (is that a word??) of Picky Palate on FB, but I am now “like” Kitchen Aid on FB.
Chocolate Cake!
I would have old fashioned fry bread drizzled with honey and powdered sugar!
It’s not fancy, but if I could have any dessert I wanted it would be strawberry shortcake. I love the buttery goodness of the shortcake, the fresh sweet berries and of course… lots of fresh whipped cream!
It would be a triple chocolate cake and my daughter knows that…:)))
I would definitely choose a chocolate lava cake….yum! :o)
My grandmother’s fresh coconut cake…made from scratch…would be my choice!
I would have New York cheesecake with berries!
I would choose Pavlova – its light and cunchie with some cream and fruit – ohhh just melts in your mouth – bring it on.
Happy Mothers Day
If I could have any Mother’s Day dessert, it would be a Lady Finger Cake with raspberry filling and fresh cream… with a drizzle of chocolate. And with my baby boy of course… and his upcoming sister <3
These Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie n’ Oreo Fudge Brownie Bars… http://tinyurl.com/7gz8e34
Normally I would like anything with chocolate, but something with berries (especially blueberries) sounds absolutely delicious right now.
If I could have any Mother’s Day dessert it would be chocolate eclairs. Love the creamy vanilla custard!
Strawberry Rhubarb Pie!! Yummy!
A homemade Coconut Cream Pie with Whipped Cream!
Macadamia nut ice cream sandwich from the Hula Grill in Hawaii!!!!
I would love chocolate peanut butter cupcakes 🙂
My choice for a Mother’s Day dessert would be freshly baked cinnamon rolls topped with lots of cream cheese icing…yum!!
I would have creme brulee – or anything served with Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream!! YUM!
They call it a salad, but I call it dessert…….Strawberry/Raspberry Jello Pretzel Salad. Love this stuff!
Seven layer bars, for sure!
My Mother’s Day dessert choice would be homemade cheesecake … Such an indulgence!
So tough!! But I’d have to say Creme Brulee because it’s my mom’s favorite.
I like Picky Palate on FB (I’d love it if I could!!)
I would have the Picky Palate’s white chocolate peanut butter and banana cupcakes!!! ALSO, LOVE the pink appliances 🙂
Classic vanilla cake!
That is a beauty for sure. Love the color. If I could have any dessert for Mother’s Day it would be any kind of cheesecake. New York Style is my favorite but any kind will do. Happy Mother’s Day to you!
I would like Cheesecake for Mother’s Day!
creme Brulee! yumm!!! 🙂
strawberries over angelfood cake!!!!
I would love your “Starbucks” Lemon Pound Cake with added blueberries for a nice Spring touch.
Well, I actually told my husband and kids I was making my own Mother’s Day dessert of MY choice this year… But I needed help deciding. The options? Banana pudding or YOUR white chocolate s’mores bars. We flipped a coin, and the bars won! I’m so excited!! I love them, and the last time I made them was when my husband was on deployment, so he hasn’t had them yet!! Although, I’m not sure I want to share. 😉
I would want a nice brunch for mothers day, with the whole family!
My grandma used to make the best brownies with chocolate frosting, and a white chocolate drizzle. Either those, or a GREAT red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting!
I already follow Picky Palate and KitchenAid on facebook.
For me, it would be any recipe that reminds me of my mom and grandma. So, maybe some homemade apple pie!
