The BEST Mother’s Day gift for me would be a white cake with white icing, decorated with pretty colored icing flowers.

If I could have any Mother’s Day Dessert of my choice, I think I would have to stick with tride-and-true gooey delicious pecan-filled brownies!”

Homemade carrot cake. Several of my siblings and I have birthdays in November and my mom used to make a wonderful carrot cake for us – using baby food carrots for extra moistness. Yum!

If I could have any Mother’s Day dessert it would be rhubarb pie because it reminds me of picking rhubarb in my mom’s backyard and baking pies together!

Even though I’m not a mom, I would ask for Oreo cookies ‘n’ cream cheesecake. Mmmmm. 🙂 Happy Mother’s Day!

Pink Champagne Cupcakes! They are so pretty and feminine but everyone loves them (even the men in the family).

My all time favorite Mother’s Day dessert – the chocolate torte my daughter and I learned how to make when we took a cooking class in Paris. The crust is super easy and the chocolate filling oh so decadent. A side of fresh raspberry or strawberry sauce with whipped cream is devine. When my children were little it was whatever they made! Now that they are young adults I can get the torte without even asking for it!

My ultimate mother’s day dessert would be either that toffee poke cake or a Texas Sheet Cake from my grandmother’s recipe box! Chocolate gooeyness, yum. I think I need to fire up my old rusty antique mixer and make this happen! 😉
