Wow, what beautiful colors! I’ve been wanting a KA mixer for years. If I could have any dessert of my choice on Mother’s Day it would be my Grandma’s Peach & Elderberry Cobbler. Unfortunately, my Grandma is gone and it was one of those “in her head” recipes, so I am going to try to replicate this summer when the elderberries are ripe.

I am making my own Mother’s Day dessert because I am hosting our Mother’s Day dinner at my house this year. It’s a two layer cake with one layer devil’s food and one layer vanilla cake with homemade buttercream icing.

So many desserts… So little time. I think I’d go with the fantastically underrated really perfect banana split. I’m talking fresh, homemade ice cream, pineapple sauce, strawberries & hot fudge, nuts, and….believe it or not, I prefer my whipped cream from the can. 🙂 Happy Mother’s Day, ladies!

Mile high lemon meringue pie is what I’d choose. You know, the kind with a tender flaky golden crust and more lemon filling than usual, and a huge cap of fluffy delicately browned meringue on top!!

If I could have any dessert for Mother’s Day, I would want a piece of excellent, strawberry pie with fresh whipped cream, made with wonderfully sweet, ripe berries!

My dessert of choice would be butterscotch cheesecake. Although I’ve never heard of such a thing but I love butterscotch and cheesecake so why not put them together? 🙂

I would pick Chocolate decadence for my Mother’s Day dessert. I follow you on and Kitchen Aid on FB
