S’mores Stuffed Brownies…

Happy Memorial Day! Hope everyone is out doing something fun today 🙂  Huge thanks to Emily from Swank Design for the Picky Palate face lift, I love it! Let me know what you guys think 🙂

Feast your eyes on these devilish little brownies! Who doesn’t love s’mores? I don’t think I know anyone who doesn’t just love them. It was a no brainer last week to create a layered stuffed s’mores brownie and I am so glad I did! We devoured these like they were going out of style.

Another very easy recipe to whip up which makes it all the more awesome right?! I’m talking like 4 main ingredients plus the few items you’ll need for your brownie mix. Just what we need this week to kick off summer! Get your kids in the kitchen for this one….they’ll love these brownies and can help layer all the yummy ingredients.

Take a peek…..enjoy!

Break out your basic S’mores ingredients….mmm!

Chocolate!

Grahams!

Pour half of your brownie batter into prepared pan.

Start your layering…..grahams first 🙂

Then comes the chocolate…

….and the marshmallows 🙂

Now, pour the rest of the brownies!

Now, it’s time to bake!

Love it!

If you like little bite size brownies, check out this pan. Found it at Sur La Table a couple months ago. Wilton makes it, found a link on amazon HERE if you like it.

I could totally be fine just eating the batter and s’mores toppings like this… 🙂

Trying these and having cooking time issues??? I can’t seem to get the center cooked without the marshmellows OVER browning. Any suggestions? (They are still pretty delicious, but the under cooked center makes cutting into individual brownies near impossible…)

  2. Becky

The brownies never did set up in middle but the edges were delicious! I will have to try again with possible a lower oven temp.

  3. Jenny

    Hi Jenny,
I just saw these and scooped up all the ingredients at the grocery today. The hubby will be thrilled when he gets home to find these treats. I’ve been meaning to say I’ve seen you on the Food Network for a burger challenge and I was a bit miffed that they didn’t mention you being a popular food blogger. I felt that was a bit ‘controlling’ of them. A little shout out to your blog isn’t going to hurt their viewership for godsakes! Anyway, I see you all over so you certainly aren’t hurting for exposure for I just wanted to say I noticed and felt cheated for you. I use many of you recipes for I am a huge fan!

I’m having technical difficulties. 🙁 the marshmallow swelled a ton and dislodged any brownie mix. Still in the oven but the tops are burning. I will have to keep trying til I get it right!

These look delicious! I can’t wait to try them! Thanks for sharing this with us!

  6. jobymorgan

These look great! I want to make them, but I have a question: In the picture, you show a family size brownie box that makes 13X9 brownie. In the recipe you are making an 8X8 brownie. Should I purchase the family size box and use it in an 8X8 pan? or a regular size brownie mix?
    Thanks, love your recipes!

    1. Jenny

I have used both size pans and either works fine. If you want to make more brownies go with the larger size pan 🙂

  7. Sarah

I tried this and it was awesome!!! Tastes just as juicy and delicious as the pics look! Thanks for the great recipe and pic guide!

  8. Kelly

I made these today for my husband and he has now proclaimed that he will love me forever if i just continue making these over and over! hehe!

  9. Amanda

I can never get mine to be quite solid in the middle, like yours! I even baked for 45 – 50 mins. Can you help me on this? They are SO YUMMY! But I want them to look just as good!

  10. Melissa

These were incredible, loved by all blessed enough to taste them. I was thinking of doubling the recipe and baking in a 9×13 pan. Do you think it’d work with two brownie mixes? One for top and bottom? Or stick to the smaller pan and just bake it twice?

  11. Jenny

I will never make plain brownies again! These were so easy and tasted absolutely phenomenal!!! Thank you 🙂

  12. Kaitlyn

Those brownies look amazing! I am craving them right now after seeing them! I will definitely be making those this weekend for my family.

  13. Kelly Stone

I want to run to the kitchen to make these, they look so delicious. Thanks for the idea.

  14. katie

These look amazing! i’m going to try them with minimarshmallows in the 8×8 pan b/c that’s what i have. Hope it works!

  15. Jem

I was just wondering, when you’re making this, do you follow the brownie’s original baking time (3-5 minutes) , as opposed to the time you indicated (45 minutes, or so)?

This recipe looks fantastic… yum yum 🙂

  16. Lesa Antone

Okay, I have to try these–I actually followed the link here from another blog who posted this recipe. I bought brownie mix yesterday that is called “Black Forest” brownies, so it has bits of dark cherries mixed in. Thinking that might add a little surprise bite of tartness to these. Not that they need any help, but it’s what I’ve got on hand, so hopefully it will work!!

Thanks for the great recipes! I love browsing and trying new stuff!!

These brownies are awesome. I’ve made them twice already and they were a big hit both times! Thanks for all the great recipes!

I am a new follower, and I must say I am in love….with everything you put on here! These s’more brownies should be outlawed. I am going to have to get one of those mini-pans. Love it. I tried the ice cream brownies the other day. They didn’t taste as AMAZING as they looked in your pictures, but hey, I’m not a picky brownie eater. Never met a brownie I don’t like. I’ll have to try them again, next time with mint icecream.

i don’t know what i did wrong. but mine differently did not look like yours. i double checked and i followed all the directions correct.

I finally had a second to do some baking this past weekend and these were a huge hit!! So ooey and gooey and there is something about those graham crackers that just makes them so rich. I can’t eat more than one at a time but they are SOO GOOOD, especially with a cold glass of milk!

  21. Amanda

I made these yesterday in preparation for a road trip–YUM! They are so great and all of the individual s’more flavors stand out. One of the best parts is that my Hershey bar layer is still gooey even after they cooled. I ate one for breakfast this morning…couldn’t hold out until we actually got on the road. These are definitely going to be on my list of go-to recipes for parties and potlucks. Thanks for the great idea; your site is a great find Jenny!

  22. Jen B.

These are fantastic!!!!!! I made them yesterday and my sister in law and I had to restrain from eating too many.lol. I love that the marshmallows have a toasted taste. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe! These will be a staple in our house this summer. 🙂

I made these last week and they were delcious! The kids loved them. I am going to use Carmello chocolate bars next time to throw in a little carmel! Thanks for sharing such wonderful recipes! I always look to your blog first for yummy ideas!

I forwarded this to my sister who made it for her daughter’s birthday party . . . AMAZING!! She got compliment after compliment! I felt somewhat responsible since I found the recipe for her, but thanks!! Loved it!

  28. Becca

I love s’mores and I love brownies but I wasn’t sure how I’d like them together. But the two come together wonderfully. I made them for a potluck bbq tonight and they were a huge hit. The only thing I’ll do differently next time is put about 1/3 of the brownie batter on the first layer and the remaining 2/3 on top.
