I found this giant bag of green beans from Costco. You can find smaller packages at the regular grocery store.
Place 1 pound of green beans into a large skillet with a few drizzles of olive oil.
Add a pinch of salt and pepper.
These two simple flavors make a heck of a glaze. Do it. Try it 🙂
A few drizzles of your favorite brand of honey.
A tablespoon or so of Frank’s Hot Sauce. You can add a little more to make it spicier.
Top with a few sliced almonds if you’d like.

Spicy Sweet Green Beans Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 pound green beans
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Wings Sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
Instructions
- Place oil into large skillet over medium heat. Add green beans, salt and pepper, stirring to combine. Cook and stir for 7-10 minutes, until softened. Stir in Frank's and honey until combined. Serve hot.
Wow! This sounds so good! I don’t have any hot sauce, but I think I will try it with Sriacha sauce and see how it turns out!
I made this tonight and OMG was it good! We even used the leftover sauce to dunk our chicken in! I cut the reipe in half since it’s just me & hubby eating the veggies. Hubby was mad that we ran out lol!

I love the idea of using green beans, but my boyfriend won’t go near them. Maybe I’ll try this glaze with broccoli since I know I’m gonna need this in my life!
