It’s not fancy, but if I could have any dessert I wanted it would be strawberry shortcake. I love the buttery goodness of the shortcake, the fresh sweet berries and of course… lots of fresh whipped cream!

I have been a longtime “liker” (is that a word??) of Picky Palate on FB, but I am now “like” Kitchen Aid on FB.

My favorite Mother’s Day dessert would have to be red velvet cake. My mom and I have always made it together and her recipe for homemade cream cheese frosting – passed down from my grandmother – is to die for! I think I could eat the entire cake in one sitting!

I would choose the lemon mousse cake that my daughter makes. It is a light sponge cake filled with mousse, topped with fresh berries an whipped cream.

I love making strawberry pie for Mother’s day! It’s my Mom’s favorite, and so delicious!

I would have a chocolate cake baked from scratch in this amazing raspberry ice mixer, with ganache filling and fluffy chocolate frosting with some super ripe strawberries on top. And maybe a dollop of real whipped cream on top to cut the chocolate ever so slightly.

Unfortunately, I am hosting Mother’s Day at my house. My mom is bringing some brownies and I will be making other desserts with the help of my 8 yr old daughter. Maybe strawberry pretzel “salad” in jars…or brown butter pound cake…and maybe chocolate chip cookies in muffin top pan…I can’t decide. I want to make it all…too bad I only have one mixer and a crappy blender.

    Happy Mother’s Day to everyone!

If I could have any dessert of my choice, I think I’d pick Black Forest cake!! Love this cake! Haven’t had one in a while. But my husband and oldest are gone so I guess I have to make one myself if I want it! LOL!

IF I could have any dessert on Mothers Day, it would be a big caramel nut brownie with some kind of real good ice cream on top, whipped cream and chocolate drizzle on top!!! OH YEAH!

I would love a white chocolate raspberry cheesecake, and cupcakes made by my children!

If you could have any Motherā€™s Day Dessert of your choice, what would it be? Truly would want it to be whatever my Momma wanted and knowing her it would be red velvet cupcakes with whipped cream cheese frosting.

My daughter is starting to be at the age where she’s cooking on her own. So anything she makes me will be perfect!

Fresh strawberries, chopped with some sugar, served over a slice of pound cake. Maybe throw in a slice of cheesecake while we’re at it. šŸ™‚

If I could have any Mother’s Day dessert it would be French Vanilla Cake layered with lemon curd and frosted with fluffy sweet meringue buttercream and coasted with sugar and cinnamon toasted almonds!

    I’m a facebook fan too!

I’m in love with the raspberry ice mixer – heaven in a kitchen!

Im not a mother but would love to make my mother her favorite dessert; a cheesecake recipe that’s been passed down from my great grandmother. My mother and I make it together on holidays like Christnas, etc šŸ™‚ so delicious but the process of sharing those memories together is even sweeter!

I’m not a mother….but I am making my mom a Black Walnut Apple Cake as that is her favorite!
