I always want chocolate for Mothers Day. (And my birthday… and my anniversary… and Christmas… you get the idea!) A chocolate cookie that someone else made would be PERFECT. And I absolutely love that the kitchen aid mixer comes with a glass bowl!! Liked you both on Facebook, too.

Oh boy, my idea of the perfect dessert changes daily! Today, I’d have to say the Mocha Mudslide ice cream pie my mom makes. Definitely one of my favorites, and they’re calling for a warm day on Sunday. The cool ice cream pie would be perfect.
If I was cooking for my mom, it would be my blackberry coconut macaroon tart.

the choices are many…cheesecake, key lime pie, prune cake w/ buttermilk glaze. I think the best choice would be CHEESECAKE, NY Style. yummy!

Homemade chocolate angel food with chocolate whipped cream frosting like my grandma made.
It would have to be my mom’s Carrot Cake Cheesecake. It is so much better than Cheesecake Factorys.

Chocolate Dream from Carrabba’s! It’s a rich brownie layered with mousse, whipped cream, another brownie, hot fudge poured on top… devine!

If I could have any dessert for Mother’s Day, it would be kisses from my grandsons; big, sloppy kisses from the boys that have stolen my heart for life. If I had to choose a more tangible dessert, it would be scones with homeade strawberry jam (my youngest makes them so good).
I would looooove to have creme brulee with freshly-picked raspberries!
