There are very few desserts that I wouldn’t like. But if I had to choose, probably some type of ice-box pie or cheesecake.
At this point, anything with rhubarb! I am having a hard time finding it since we moved. Rhubarb pie, cake, preserves, scones, and the list goes on!

Has to be something with loads of chocolate and then whipped cream frosting – somewhat sweet, but not overly, topped with strawberries ! YUM

My favorite dessert is chocolate and caramel… so maybe turtle cheesecake would be the best mother’s day dessert. On the otherhand, any dessert that I don’t have to make myself would be wonderful too!

If I could have any Mother’s Day dessert it would be strawberry cupcakes. Recipe can be found here on Picky Palate!! They are absolutely delicious. I bake them often for my office and all of my co-workers are obsessed with them. Baking would be much easier with this beautiful KitchenAid !
For Mother’s Day I would LOVE caramel turtle cheesecake!

The dessert I’d like most for Mother’s Day would be freshly baked cinnamon rolls topped with lots of cream cheese icing…yum!!

Hummingbird cupcakes with pineapple cream cheese icing… I’ve been craving them all week – putting some in the oven this afternoon when I get home from work!
I would love a triple fudge cake with fudge icing and slivered almonds on top! And don’t forget a glass of milk on the side…
It’s the time of year that I start to crave anything lemon! So my Mother’s Day wish would be homemade lemon meringue pie!!

Mother’s Day dessert… I’d have to go with red velvet mini cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. But not for me, for my oldest friend who recently had a beautiful baby girl. I’d bring them to her on a platter, possibly with all the seasons of Bones I could get my hands on.
Her child is named Temperance Paige. Get it? Haha.
I would love to have a coconut cake with pineapple filling.

if i had to have any treat for mother’s day….it would actually be steak!! because during a brief moment of insanity, i decided to go off of sugar for 30 days. before i realized that 30 days would stretch over mother’s day! oh well. so since i’m sacrificing sugar, i definitely think i should win! 🙂
