my mother’s day dessert of choice would be a lemon vanilla layer cake. i highly doubt my three year old is yet skilled enough in the kitchen to make it, though he is pretty darn good with a whisk 🙂

Love the pink kitchenaid items! I liked both of the pages on Facebook and can’t wait to see what’s posted! Red velvet cake would be the best on Mother’s Day!

I want my own bar of chocolate, and I don’t want to have to share it!

I’m not a mother. I lost my mother to cancer about six years ago… But, if I could have any Mother’s Day Dessert, it would be my mom’s apple pie. “Rie”, short for Marie, was known for her desserts, specifically her apple pie. Her crust was the flakiest, tenderest you’ve ever had the pleasure to consume. She finished that wonderful crust and those cinnamony, sweet apples off with a ooey, gooey, pecan caramel topping. Mmm…it was the perfect blend of flavors. Each bite melted away in your mouth!

I remember Mom’s church having a bake off auction to raise money for the youth group. Her apple pie raised over $500.00! When she took her apple pie to a pot luck, everyone would rush to the dessert table first so they wouldn’t miss out on a slice of that wonderful pie! Forget the fried chicken!

So, if I could have any Mother’s Day Dessert, it would have to be “Rie’s Apple Pie”, since that would mean I would get to see my sweet, loving mom one last time.

If I could have any dessert it would be my mom’s cheesecake because that would mean she was here to make it for me.

I would love those bis off cookies you have the recipe for on your website but I can’t find those cookies anywhere!!!! Those cookies are the best!

A cheesecake!! Or a gigantic lemon cake with cream cheese frosting. (These are all things my husband hates, so I never make them because I don’t want to be stuck eating it all by myself!)

The one mother’s day dessert I would love some chocolate fudge cupcakes with salted caramel icing. Delicious. But truly I backspaced this answer and started over like 10 times because I love all dessert!
