If I could have any dessert for Mothers day I would swoon over a fabulous piece of chocolate cake with raspberry filling served by my 3 children. That would melt my heart and be the best celebration in years.

I’m not a mother myself, but I’m going to make my mom an amaretto cake, her favorite flavor. 🙂

Darn! 🙁 I’m not in the US.

But I’ll answer anyway. I’d have a hojaldre cake with caramel 🙂

I would make a sugar-free trifle that my husband loves and so does all my family! I layer chunked angel food cake, vanilla pudding, strawberries…topping it with whip cream and more fresh strawberries! We have a lot of stands around our community that have fresh strawberries…I also have a family member who cannot have sugar so as a mother on “Mother’s Day” I would always think of my family first!

My dessert of choice would have to be anything I didn’t have to make myself. I’ll accept anything yummy, maybe dark chocolate chunk brownies with fresh berries and cream on top. 😛
