I love to bake and have passed that love onto my children, especially my daughter who turns 12 the day before Mother’s Day. Every the four kiddos get together and bake me something and Daddy cleans up the kitchen. Each year I declare that my new favorite.
If I could have any Mother’s Day Dessert, it would be my Mother’s homemade carrot cake. So light, fluffy and delicious!

“If you could have any Mother’s Day Dessert of your choice, what would it be?” I just recently figured out the recipe to these raisin square cookies that a relative used to make [but wouldn’t share the recipe!] so I plan on making those today for tomorrow’s Mother’s Day Get Together!

The dessert I would wish for the most is a 3 layer coconut cake. With icing between each layer. Oh yummmmmmmmm

7 years ago, my mom died of breast cancer – on Mother’s Day. If I could have any dessert with my mom for mother’s day, it wouldn’t matter what the dessert would be – but I’d probaby pick her favorite dessert to honor her: home-made fudge brownies, topped with ice cream, hot fudge, “extra” hot fudge, whipped cream, and a candied cherry. I love you Mom!
Any dessert for Mother’s day? How about a creme brule! Just about the only thing I won’t make at home myself. Complete indulgence. What I could do with that kitchenaide blender!

For the perfect Mother’s Day dessert? I’d go with Blackberry Sorbet made with fresh blackberries. They are delicious this year!

Let’s see, something with strawberries, or maybe blueberries, or should I pick chocolate? Love cheesecake, and pies are one of my favorites. Brownies, deep, dark, rich, gooey, fudgey brownies. Do I really have to pick just one?
