I’m not a mom, but this year is the first year I won’t be with my mom during Mother’s Day (sad, sad post-grad life). If I could make my mom any Mother’s Day dessert this year it’d be- Lemon Filled White Cake with her homemade Limoncillo cream cheese frosting. She loves it!

One of my favorite deserts that my own mother used to make for me when I was a child is angel food cake with 7 minute frosting. I would like that or a lemon chevre tart!
Coconut Chex Mix! I love it and it is easy for the kids to make and clean up.
My ultimate mothers day dessert would be anything that I don’t have to make!! Plus it must involve peanut butter and chocolate. Those are the only 2 qualifications. I also think I would be adorable at owning that raspberry colored Kitchen Aid, since mine is 22 years old….
I would love fresh out of the oven cupcakes. Any flavor as long as they are warm and soft!

I would love to have some maple cake with maple frosting. My mother used to make that for us when we were young. I remember her reading it out of the Betty Crocker cookbook. Those were wonderful times.

I’d love my mom’s german chocolate cake! The best in the world! She’s in a nursing home in Florida and I’m in Indiana. Miss her terribly and would give anything to spend Mother’s Day with her and have her bake me a cake!
