Toast those marshmallows!
How To Make Toasted Marshmallows
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. and line a baking sheet with a silpat liner, no substitutions. Line Jumbo marshmallows up in the center of the baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden and toasted. Remove from oven.
Getting puffy…
Golden and toasted.
How crazy fabulous does this look?!
Let’s break out the ice cream.
How To Make Cookies and Cream Milkshake
- Place ice cream, milk and toasted marshmallows into a blender. Blend until well combined. Add Oreo Cookies and blend just slightly so that there are cookie chunks in shake.
- Pour into glasses and enjoy!
Place it right in the blender. I used between 5 and 6 cups.
Add some milk 🙂
Time for the toasted marshmallow. There’s no easy way, just dig into it with a spoon and transfer it to the blender 🙂
Yep.
Time to blend!
Oreo time! Did you see that Oreo has a Mega Stuf now? As if Double Stuf wasn’t enough right? Lol!
I heart Oreos.
Take 6 of your favorite Oreos.
Into the blender they go. Pour into glasses and enjoy!

I made this tonight and it was amazing. One question though, my marshmallows instantly got really sticky and hard. The blender didn’t even want to blend them so I took a big chunk of it out. Did I do something wrong? Maybe cooked them too long ?
We are definitely going to make a Gluten Free version of this very soon!
My girls are having a sleepover this week, and we are making these for dessert! Just bought the Silpat liner from Bed Bath & Beyond.
Just to confirm, when you say jumbo marshmallows, you really mean the JUMBO ones, right(they say JUMBO on the package)? There’s mini, then there’s “big & fluffy,” then there’s JUMBO, which looks like they’re about 3-4 times larger than the “big & fluffy” ones.
Thanks again for another fabulous recipe, Jenny!
I fixed these milkshakes tonight for my girls and they loved them! Thanks for the recipe :-).
So glad to hear it! Thanks for sharing Shannon 🙂
Wow-now that is a serious milk shake! Love that you have toasted marshmallows and oreos together!
Holy moly, these look delicious!!! Thanks for the great idea, the puctures are making me so thirsty. Must.go.make.one.right.now:)
This makes me sooooooooo excited!! 😀 😀 I cannot wait to try this on a gloomy Irish evening with my boyfriend! Marshmallows, milkshakes and Oreos- what’s not to love?? Jenny, this is a very easy and creative recipe I know I will love and it looks sweet enough for the kids.
My…my…this sounds incredible to have right now! SoCal weather for the past few days has allowed me to wear shorts and crave for ice cream!
This was a HUGE hit at my house. Thanks for sharing!
Funny…just the other day I was thinking about how I could create a “s’moreo”. This is just another spin on that idea 🙂
I like when your marshmallow begin to melt ! It looks like a wonderful pillow, soft and fluffy 😉
This milkshake looks delicious!
Um, I need this. Like right now!
My Oreo craving has been taken to a whole new level… Amazing!

Definitely, killing me.
I like the way you think, can’t wait to try this!!!
Heck yes! This sounds awesome!
This looks too phenomenal! Such a yummy idea. I just got some homemade strawberry vanilla marshmallows…how good, cute, and pink would this be with those and strawberry ice cream. So tempted to try it!
And graham cracker
This looks so tasty! I haven’t had a milkshake in probably a year but now I am seriously craving one!
Oh my gawwwwwwwd! The toasted marshmallows here are killing me.
WOW! You never cease to amaze me. It looks so freaking good 🙂
My heart just stopped.
Those marshmallows look amazing! Those are definitely my weakness. So, I have to ask, what is the other recipe that you used the other 6 marshmallows for? Please share!
Those marshmallows look like fresh baked rolls straight from the oven. The goo factor is over the top!
I am all for these, winter or not 🙂 They look so delicious!
YES!!! I’ll gladly enjoy one of these shakes 🙂
wow, this looks amazing! i LOVE the twist with the marshmallows!!
Oh yum!!!
Not only have I seen the Mega Stuf Oreos, but I’ve bought the traditional ones as well as the Mega Stuf Golden Oreos just this week. They are insanely good. I really need to bake (or blend!) with the remaining cookies so I don’t eat them one at a time. I mean, at 90 calories each, they aren’t exactly a health food.
This milkshake looks fabulous, and with a little Whipped Vodka added to it, I think it might be just the thing to warm me up on a cold February night. 🙂
I need this shake right now! YUM!
I don’t even care about the snow outside… I want this milkshake NOW!
Honestly, I just want to say that I LOVE your blog. You update SO FREQUENTLY with such innovative recipes. And I love the step by step photos. Sorry I just had to get that out there. This one looks fab… LOVE the toasted marshmallows mmmmmm
For real? This sounds amazing! Best thing ever! I am so making this today! I am all on my own because my husband is away for a whole 3 weeks 🙁 but this is like a glass full of cheer and celebration. He may come back to find me a couple of kgs heavier!
How crazy fabulous does this look?! <— Supremely awesome! to reply to your question! That marshmallow splooge when they get all toasty on the Silpat..omg, YES! Love this one, Jenny! Pinning!
