What You’ll Need

Here are the ingredients you’ll need to make this easy taquitos recipe at home. See the recipe card located at the bottom of the post for full details.

  • Refried Beans– Use your favorite brand of refried beans for the recipe.
  • Taco Seasoning– Any taco seasoning mix works great. You can even make my homemade taco seasoning recipe.
  • Shredded Cheese– I use a mild cheddar cheese for my taquitos.
  • Taco Size Flour Tortillas– Use your favorite brand of flour tortillas for the taquitos.

How To Make Easy Taquitos Recipe

Preheat Oven and Line Baking Sheet With Parchment Paper. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix Beans and Taco Seasoning. In a large mixing bowl stir together the refried beans and taco seasoning.

Add Beans and Cheese To Tortilla. Add a couple tablespoons of beans into the center of each tortilla, top with cheese and roll tightly.

Place Taquitos Onto Baking Sheet. Place seam side down onto prepared baking sheet.

Brush With Olive Oil and Season Tops. Brush tops of each taquito with olive oil and sprinkle with taco seasoning.

Bake. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown. Remove and transfer to a serving plate. Garnish with sour cream, cheese and cilantro. Serve warm with salsa.

Tips For Making These Taquitos

  • Add Protein. Add your favorite protein if desired. Chicken or beef works great.
  • Add More Toppings. Top with other taco favorites such as salsa, hot sauce, diced tomatoes and even queso.

How To Serve Taquitos Recipe

Serve these taquitos warm with your favorite taco toppings on top! Have some salsa in bowls for dipping too. Tortilla chips are always welcome.

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating Instructions

Place taquitos in an air fryer basket and cook at 350 degrees F. for 3-4 minutes, until hot and crisp.

Ingredients

  • 15 ounce can Refried Beans
